Savor Staff · Savor Operator

Delete your Savor account

Savor Staff is the app restaurant teams use to run their orders, and Savor Operator is the app owners and managers use to run their restaurant. Both use one Savor account — the one you also sign in to Savor on the web with. You can delete it at any time, from your account page on the web or by email.

On the web, or from the app

Sign in to the Savor web console with the Google account you use for Savor, open the menu, and choose "Account & privacy". In Savor Operator, More, then "Account & privacy", then "Delete account" opens the same page. In the Savor Staff app, "Account & privacy" under "Signed in as" in the menu — or on the restaurant screen — opens it too. It says what deleting does, then asks you to confirm, and Google then asks you to confirm it's you — so nobody else can delete your account from a shared device.

By email

Email support@savornova.app from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Savor account". We check that the request came from that address, delete the account, and reply when it is done — within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

  • Your name, your email address and the link to your Google account.
  • Every signed-in session on every device — in Savor Staff, in Savor Operator and on the web — with the network address and device details recorded when you signed in.
  • The registrations that let your devices ring for orders.
  • Your access to every restaurant, in the app and on the web.
  • Copies of your name on changes you made to orders, and of your email address on the emails we sent you about your access.

What is kept, and why

A restaurant keeps the records of its own business: its orders, the payments and refunds recorded against them, its settled tables, and the changes made to its orders and menu. Where one of those records who did something, it keeps an internal identifier that no longer leads to you — no name and no email address.

Each restaurant's activity log keeps a record that access was given and removed — when, and with which role — as a security record of who could reach its orders. Your email address is removed from it.

Our encrypted database backups cannot be changed once they are made, so a backup made before you deleted your account still holds it as it was. Every backup is deleted automatically within 35 days of being made, and backups are used only to recover from a failure.

If you own a restaurant

If you are the only owner of a restaurant on Savor, deleting your account would leave nobody able to run it, so it can't be deleted until another owner is in place. Add another owner first — in Savor Operator, More, then Team — and once they have signed in, delete your account. If the restaurant is closing instead, email us and we will close it.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. To use Savor again, a restaurant would have to give you access again.
